How to love a woman.
“You may not be her first, her last, or her only. She loved before she may love again. But if she loves you now, what else matters? She’s not perfect - you aren’t either, and the two of you may never be perfect together but if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows you can break - her heart. So don’t hurt her, don’t change her, don’t analyze and don’t expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she’s not there. -Bob Marley

Why am I so afraid of falling for him? Is it because I’m afraid he could never feel that for me? Because I’m afraid of hurting like I have too many times before? Because I don’t want to make myself vulnerable? Because I don’t know how to take that next step?
Everything? All of it…
It all scares me. But thinking of him not around….scares me more…

My scars still hurt, not physically, but emotionally. I was looking in the mirror yesterday and tears started welling up in my eyes. No matter what weight I lose the scars from my surgerys will always be there…

Every night I try my best to dream, tomorrow makes it better. And I wake up to the cold reality, and not a thing has changed.
…It’s not that I don’t feel the pain, it’s just I’m not afraid of hurting anymore.

Seattle. Beacon Hill. Jefferson Park.*this* is why I love Seattle.

Donald Judd, Untitled, 1973
Things to keep in mind while studying:
- This sculpture is an example of what movement?
- How does the highly polished surface help with Judd’s elimination of the hand of the artist? This was a reaction to what style?
